This would be my top 5 splurges. I use these items EVERY SINGLE DAY with my newborn. I realize that these items are pricey but as a girl who loves a bargain these were worth it for me.
Baby Bjorn Bouncer : This item saves me. I have found I need various places to park my newborn and this is one of them. This was my go to when my toddler was a baby and I am reusing it with my newborn.
Doona Stroller & Car Seat : This stroller is particularly great if you have two kids. It saves me when traveling. It isn’t as light as some other car seats but the dual purpose makes up for it. Note there is no storage so buying the bag attachment is super helpful.
Love To Dream Swaddle : I was doing the traditional swaddle and an arm would wiggle out or I would have to start all over because I didn’t align him the right way… not with this swaddle. You lay him down, put their arms in and zip them up. Also this allows them to sleep with their arms up. I will say sometimes my newborn will try to eat the sleeve (and anything else he comes into contact with) but it is still worth it for me.
Stoke Tripp Trapp High Chair: Ok this initially took some convincing because of the price. I hated my last high chair, it was bulky and plastic and I tripped over it constantly. This is sleep clean and lightweight AND grows with your child. What I love is the newborn attachment because it’s another landing place for my baby if I need one, especially in the kitchen. I have a friend with an almost 6 year old still using this high chair as the chair it transitions into.
The Hatch : Ok this is a life saver. My toddler is 4 and we still use it. You can operate it from an app. My favorite part of this was when my toddler w ..as younger she would cry and I would be half asleep, grab the app and use the mic feature. This allowed me to talk or sing to her and it would many times put her back to sleep. You can change the sounds and colors of the light as well. Highly recommend!
